When you need a second listen
How to say not understanding or not knowing?
- Know = savoir
- Understand = comprendre
I don’t know = Je ne sais pas.
I don’t understand = Je ne comprends pas
How to ask to repeat slowly?
- Nói = to say, to speak
- Verb + lại = repetition of the action of the verb
Làm = to do therem lại = to do again
=> Say again = repéter
- Chậm = slowly
- Okay = possibilité
- Is that okay ? = possible ou non?
Can you speak slowly ? _ = Pourriez-vous parler lentement
= > Can you speak slower ? = Pourriez-vous répeter lentement ?
When we want to know what the object we are pointing at or seeing is
- This = ceci
- There = “equivalent to” or “=”
or There = verb “to be” ⚠️ but not before an adjective! ⚠️ - (What) = quoi
– What is this ? _ = Ça c est quoi?
– This is (mot) = Ça c est (mot)
