See and find = thấy

Thấy = find + adjective

Examples:

1. I feel sad = je me sens triste
2. I see her sad = je la trouve triste

See = voir (to see)

I don’t see her anywhere = je ne vois pas où elle est.

⚠️ “Thấy” does not mean “see” in the sense “  to see/meet someone” which is “  gặp ”.
